"Game of Shrooms" is a scavenger hunt where hiders make and seekers score. On August 15th 2020, many cities and towns around the world will participate by creating mushroom themed art pieces, strategically placed to be discovered and treasured by the lucky finder. We welcome the artist behind the hunt, Attaboy. We learn about his eclectic career, how Game of Shrooms came to be, and the impact this simple idea has had.

Attaboy is an artist and co-founder of Hi-Fructose Magazine. With a commitment to creating and curating surprising forms of visual art, Atta has forged a varied career, often fusing subversion with disconcerting whimsy. In June of last year, Atta inadvertently created an international underground holiday called Game of Shrooms Shroom-drop scavenger hunt.
