In fact, as of April 2019, Mushroom Revival is not only the biggest, but also the first and only Certified Organic Cordyceps militaris fruiting body farm in the Western Hemisphere. What’s unique about our Cordyceps mushrooms

The mushroom in our Cordyceps extract is a species known as Cordyceps militaris. This species is both vegan and cruelty-free. Here’s a look at some of what makes our Cordyceps mushrooms so awesome, and why we love our Cordyceps extracts.

1. Fruiting bodies forever and always!

Simply put, fruiting bodies are the above-ground parts of a mushroom and mycelium live underground. It’s cheaper and easier to grow mycelium on grain than it is fruiting bodies, so many products use Cordyceps mycelium. At Mushroom Revival, our products use only 100% Cordyceps militaris fruiting bodies, never mycelium. You have our word — and we offer tests for proof.

2. Certified Organic Cordyceps mushrooms

Not only are our Cordyceps mushroom supplements Certified Organic, but they’re also grown, extracted, and sold in the USA. We are certified by Baystate Organic Certifiers, so we follow strict guidelines to maintain that certification.

3. Science, science and more science!

Cordyceps mushrooms contain different active components, and they need to be extracted so your body can access them. We always double extract Cordyceps. Ours undergo a dual extraction of water, known as decoction, and alcohol, known as tincture. That’s because the active parts in mushrooms are both alcohol- and water-soluble. To get full-spectrum support from mushrooms, we extract our Cordyceps with 190-proof alcohol and hot water, then carefully combine the two. We follow the science and extract our Cordyceps (and all mushrooms we use) at the optimal alcohol percentages, temperatures and durations.

4. The sky’s the limit when you’re vertically integrated.

From spores to finished extracts, we are vertically integrated, so we are in control of the quality, purity and potency every step of the way. We grow our own Cordyceps, then we extract them and sell them to you.
